I came to Pacifica Laser Pain Center because I was tired of being in pain after falling off a motorcycle 2 ½ years ago. I injured my shoulder, knee and hand and had surgery on both shoulders and my knee. Also, I had some cortisone injections. I still had some pain in the knee and shoulders and the laser treatments have pretty much eliminated that pain. We are still working on my hand pain, although that pain level started at 9 and is now down to about 3. |

Today was the first time I could move my neck without pain in many years. This is my second visit to Pacifica Laser Pain Center and when I came in I could not bend my head forward or move it side to side. After the treatment I have full range of motion. I have had ongoing swelling in my knees after two major surgeries. During my initial laser treatment the swelling in my knee and leg went down significantly within minutes. In fact, the shoe on my foot got loose after the treatment. When I got home my husband Robert could not believe how much faster and easier I was moving around the house. I also had been getting cortisone shots for the pain in my back. The day before I was going to go for my shot I went and had a laser treatment done and 80% of my pain was gone immediately and I cancelled my cortisone appointment. I look forward to getting laser treatments so that I will no longer have to use cortisone for my back pain. |
